After-Hours Pickup ([Your Company Legal Name]) is a Shopify app that lets a store's customers opt in to after-hours order pickup, and lets store staff manage those pickup requests. This page explains what personal data the app collects, why, and how it's handled.

What we collect

• The order number a customer enters to look up their order.
• The email or phone number a customer enters, used only to confirm they're the person the order belongs to.
• The resulting pickup status (pending, opted in, picked up, or cancelled).

We don't collect names, addresses, payment details, or anything beyond what's listed above.

Why we collect it

Solely to run the after-hours pickup opt-in flow: matching a customer to their order, and letting the store's staff see and manage who has opted in and who has picked up.

How it's stored and protected

• Stored in a Postgres database (Supabase) with row-level security enabled.
• Only the app's own backend can read or write this data — it's never exposed directly to a browser.
• All data in transit is encrypted (HTTPS).

How long we keep it

Once a pickup request is picked up or cancelled, it's automatically deleted after 90 days. If a customer or store requests full erasure, we delete the relevant records within the timeframe required by law.
